- Browse products
- Navigate the store using the top menu categories or sidebar filters
- Use the search bar to find specific items by name, brand, or keywords
- Click on product images or titles to view detailed product pages
- Look for sales, featured items, or new arrivals often displayed on the homepage
- Add items to cart
- On the product page, select any required options (e.g., size, color, style)
- Choose the desired quantity using the quantity selector
- Click the "Add to Cart" button
- Look for a confirmation message or popup indicating the item was added successfully
- Continue shopping or proceed to cart
- Review shopping cart
- Click on the cart icon, usually located in the top right corner
- Review each item, ensuring correct products, options, and quantities
- Update quantities by changing numbers in quantity boxes and clicking "Update"
- Remove items by clicking the "Remove" or trash can icon
- Note any applicable discounts or promotion codes
- If available, enter a coupon code in the designated field and apply it
- Proceed to checkout
- Click the "Proceed to Checkout" or "Go to Checkout" button
- This is typically a prominent button in the cart summary area
- Sign in, create an account, or checkout as guest
- If you have an account, enter your email and password to log in
- New customers can create an account by providing basic information
- Many Magento stores offer a guest checkout option for faster processing
- Choose your preferred method and proceed
- Enter shipping information
- Provide your full name, address, city, state/province, zip/postal code, and country

- Review order
- Carefully check all entered information for accuracy
- Review the order summary, including:

- Discounts or promotional savings
- Total order amount
- Read and accept the terms and conditions if required
- Place order
- Click the "Place Order" or "Complete Order" button
- This button is usually large and prominently displayed at the bottom of the checkout page
- Wait for the order processing to complete; do not close the browser during this time
- Confirmation
- You should see an order confirmation page with your order number
- Save or print this page for your records
- Check your email for a detailed order confirmation
- The email typically includes:
- Order number
- Order summary
- Shipping address
- Estimated delivery date
- Payment information
- Customer service contact details
- Post-order actions
- Create an account if you checked out as a guest and want to track your order easily
- Check your order status by logging into your account or using the provided order tracking link
